Size: 2

Materials:

Needles: US Size 6 and US size 8 Circular

Yarn: Knit Picks Shine Worsted in Sweet Potato, 7 skeins (525 yards/12.35 ounces)

Gauge:

9 stitches and 12 rows = 2 inches in ST (size 8 needles)

Back

CO 97 with size 6 needles

Rows 1-18: K in 1×1 rib

Switch to size 8 needles

Row 19: Knit

Row 20: K5, p to last 5, k5

Repeat rows 19 and 2 until back measures 12”

Knit in stockinette stitch until back measures 18″ ending on WS row

Row 1: K40, k2tog, k1, place remaining stitches on stitch holder

Row 2: Purl

Row 3: K to last 3, k2tog, k1

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until 37 stitches remain. End on WS row.

Pick up left 43 from stitch holder (leaving 11 behind) 

Row 1: K1, SSK, k to end

Row 2: Purl

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until 37 stitches remain. End on WS row. BO

Front

CO 97 in MC with size 6 needles

Rows 1-18: K in 1×1 rib

Switch to size 8 needles

Row 19: Knit

Row 20: K5, p to last 5, k5

Repeat rows 19 and 20 until back measures 12”

Knit in stockinette stitch until back measures 15″ ending on WS row

Row 1: K48, BO1, k to end. Place right side of BO on stitch holder

Row 2: Purl

Row 3: K1, SSK, k to end 

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until 37 stitches remain ending on WS row. Place on stitch holder

Right side

Pick up 48 stitches from stitch holder

Row 1 (WS): Purl

Row 2: K to last 3, k2tog, k1

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until 37 stitches remain ending on WS row. Place on stitch holder

Line up front and back with wrong side facing out. Pick up 4 sets of 37 stitches from stitch holders (leaving 11 stitches in the middle on the back) BO, holding front and back together

Neckline

Switch to size 6 needles

Row 1 (RS): starting from center of front neckline, pick up and knit 48, pick up and knit 11 from stitch holder, pick up and knit 48

Rows 2, 4, and 6: SSK, k in 1×1 rib to last 2, k2tog

Rows 3 and 5: K in 1×1 rib

BO

Cap Sleeves

Stitch sides, stopping above garter stitch edges

Row 1: Pick up and knit 96 stitches around armhole

Rows 2-5: K in 1×1 rib
